She has been dancing and performing for over 30 years, teaching and choreographing for more than half of those years. Although the stage is where she feels at home, she has found teaching to be her true passion. She attended the University of Northern Colorado and received her degree in Social Science with an Emphasis in Elementary Education. Teaching in a traditional classroom setting has sharpened her skills as a dance teacher. She finds so much joy in watching students learn and grow as performers while in class. When she is not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their 5 children.
