As one of our most requested shows, it's no wonder the hilarious Spamalot is the winner of the 2005 Tony Award™ for Best Musical. This musical adaptation, lovingly ripped off the classic film, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, lampoons celebrated historical figures and world famous events in a clever way that will have you rolling in the aisles. Join King Arthur and his knights as they embark on a ridiculous quest for the Holy Grail discovering black knights to be fought, maidens to be rescued, and shrubberies to be sought out. Filled with show stopping musical numbers, memorable characters and killer rabbits, Spamalot is sure to be the summer's funniest adventure!
From a tragic French Broadway classic to a saucy French knight ready to taunt audiences, Midtown Arts Center's 2013-2014 season truly runs the gamut. As part of its new season, the dinner theater will produce Broadway classics including "Les Miserables" and "South Pacific" along with the Beatles tribute "Yeah, Yeah, Yeah!" and the Monty Python lampoon "Spamalot."
